We accept submissions of sonnets of all types of rhyme schemes. All work must be previously unpublished, and do not put your name on the sonnets that you send in for fair judging. There are cash prizes totalling up to $2,000, for the top 3 sonnets, the regional winners, the top 3 sonnets of the youth category, and the 15 winners of the Laureate's choice. Winners also have the chance of being published in the upcoming anthology, and are guaranteed to be published on the website. No entry fee for teenagers.
